Today, we have all been working on final procedures to finish the report. This included:

Zoe and Alysia working on the executive summary

Sara, Roshana and Alysia working on finalising the budget - as well as Sara and Roshana sorting out the report to ensure it flows

As well as all of us concluding with our Personal Professional Developments (PPD).

We are planning to finish today (18/03/2014) - ahead of deadline.

Since our last update, we planned, prepared, practiced and our PR pitch/presentation which took place on the 6th.

We all pleased with the positive feedback and any comments regarding issues or things that aren't 100% accurate - for example the budget - we are taking on board and changing accordingly.

We have now completed our pitch with our ideas/proposals in which we are presenting to the Burberry team (Edwin and Nicole), and have been practicing it to ensure we are confident in what we are saying.

We have also now completely finished the budget for both the fashion show and press reception.

We now need to focus on getting the report in order and all together.

Today we have all been working on the budget.


As there are many different sections we decided to focus on a few different parts of the budget. This again allows us all to have an insight into the process as well as it getting done quicker.

We all ensured we researched companies, competitors and costs to ensure the budget we allow is reasonable, appropriate and suited to the brand.

Again, we have also been focusing on finishing the presentation.

Today we finished publics, chose models for the fashion show and worked on the SMART objectives.

So we have recently been focusing on PUBLICS - which each member of the group focusing on one 'section' of the publics, for example:

 Zoe has looked at Bloggers
Roshana has looked at Make Up Artists
Charnah has looked at Press/Editors
She has looked at Stylists
Alysia looked at Buyers
and Sara looked at Celebrities.

Looking at it this way, with each of us looking at different people, ensured that we all understand the research needed into who goes to the shows.

We have also started the presentation and getting the information for that and plan to start practicing as soon as we can.

And finally, we are also reviewing our objectives to ensure they fit in with the SMART process.
